Home Decor - Nadeshiko

I made this for fun (and experiment). Using leftover great quality cotton fabrics and glue gun. I love how it turns out. It is so cute hehe (✿ ♥‿♥) The flower is nadeshiko (pinks) and yanagi, appropriate theme for June. 

I gave it to my grandma, and now it stays at her home. She keeps placing it upside down, I don't know why? Hehe..

Sakura Kanzashi Tsumamizaiku Frame Decor

Went to a friend's wedding party today. I made this as present. This is a wall decor, a hanging 3D picture of sakura. The flowers are made with tsumami zaiku (つまみ細工) technique. A tsumami zaiku picture (つまみ細工の絵) There's also an area for placing their own photograph. I hope they like it.

Tsumamizaiku Kanzashi for Hijab Bride - Yaezakura

Finally this commission piece is done! It's a bit different than the design I made because pearly part is not really match the style.

Alhamdulillaah akhirnya selesai juga ini pesanan kanzashi buat pengantin hijab. Agak berbeda dengan desain awal karena bagian mutiaranya kurang cocok.

The centerpiece is yaezakura or sakura with doubled petals. I use silk fabric and it is so light. Making kanzashi for hijab is always challanging because I still have to experiment on the metal parts for mounting. For this one I use brooch backing. With the help of one pin, it can be worn with stable.

Bagian tengahnya adalah yaezakura atau sakura dengan petal yang banyak. Kain yang digunakan adalah silk, jadi walaupun petalnya banyak, dia tetap ringan. Membuat kanzashi untuk hijab memang penuh tantangan! Mau masanginnya ke hijab pakai apa coba? Kanzashi yang ini aku pakai bagian metal untuk bros. Dengan bantuan satu buah jarum pentul, bisa dipasang dengan kokoh di hijab.
